Security Administrator participates in providing 24x7 support for security as necessary. This includes: Setting up user logon ID's and assigning passwords, immediate access removal of terminated users, and maintaining computer system access reports to identify possible security violations.


Responsibility:

Protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of customer owned information
Design and administer internal Security Audits for various systems
Investigate and respond to management to a loss/misuse or suspected loss/misuse of data/information
Communicate to management unresolved security exposures, misuse or noncompliance of policies and procedures
Facilitate External Security Audits.

Administer security tools for controlling and monitoring information security
Work with end-users, their supervisors, field IT and functional owners/approvers to gain correct access levels to company information.

Maintain documentation on security administration practices, policies and procedures including security access levels/classifications for all software applications.
Assist with continuous security awareness initiatives, programs and processes.

Certifications desired – CCNA, MCSE, MCSA,
Two Year Degree
3 – 5 Years experience in a security administrators roll work as a level one or level two administrator.
