Job Purpose / Summary
• Responsible for direct management of the Sales Support Coordinators. Provides overall direction of the Sales Support team to drive lead generation, Salesforce.com database management, sales reporting, and production/control of presentations and proposals.
• Coordinate and manage resources to respond to RFP and RFI requests from prospective clients.
Essential Job Responsibilities / Functions
• Develop strategies and direct efforts to implement lead generation initiatives to identify and target prospective new customers in various industries.
• Manage the sales tracking system to properly document sales opportunities and facilitate client and prospective client communications and reporting.
• Implement strategies to maintain current and consistent presentation materials and creation of presentation documents for client meetings and general sales initiatives.
• Establish strategies to coordinate multiple active responses to RFP and RFI requests from prospective clients through use of RFP software and input from various internal departments.
• Coordinate with Marketing and Product resources to assure that proposals and presentation materials are updated and reflect current and correct product information.
• Advise the VP of Sales on proposal activity and client responses. Run and distribute various management reports and updates on a weekly and monthly basis
• Participate in sales conferences and other sales activities as directed by the department manager
Job Requirements
Education Required:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
College degree preferred.
Experience Required:
Minimum 4 years of experience in a professional B2B sales environment including two or more years of experience in Payments related sales or sales support activities.
Skills and Knowledge Required;
• Ability to organize and manage a professional sales support team
• Ability to understand and execute corporate sales strategies.
• Ability to meet deadlines consistently across multiple active projects
