Position Objective:
The Regional Sales Trainer (RST) will participate in sales training design, and incorporate adult learning principles into all designs. The Regional Sales Trainer will assist in the development and evaluation of new and existing training programs through appropriate analysis to understand the true nature of the problem and/or issue at hand and desired performance improvements needed to correct the problem. The RST will identify the knowledge and skills that align with desired new behaviors. The RST will understand the impact of his and/or her training skills on his and/or her facilitation style and use these strengths to facilitate effectively. The Regional Sales Trainer can model the material's desired learning and can explain and/or demonstrate the connection of the material to the goals and objectives of the organization. The RST works with all levels of management to reach sales training goals and ties training to the organization's Mission and Vision statements.
Specific Responsibilities
:
·Will effectively and clearly communicate and assist the Sales Managers on how to execute sales onboarding & sales training efficiently and effectively.
·Audit compliance of Sales
Professional's Onboarding, Sales Manager Onboarding and sales training completion.
·Participate in Account Executive, Account Representative and Sales Manager field ride-along sessions for the purpose of providing on-going direct training, coaching and facilitation. Complete written field ride follow-up memos and/or trip reports identifying strengths and areas for improvement and will provide feedback to the appropriate management team (s).
·Will train and facilitate
Aramark Uniform Services (AUS) instructor led courses (on a rotating basis as needed). As well as one-on-one training in field and in the Market Centers environments.
·Assist in the training of GoldMine to Account Executives, Account Representatives and Sales Managers. This training will need to drive understanding and use of all key sales metric reports including PMP, TDA, etc.
·Works with regional sales teams as well as operational leadership teams to drive productivity through effective and efficient marketing and training support. Participate in training and implementation of marketing program or promotion roll-outs.
·Will occasionally attend Quarterly Sales Reviews when travel and schedule allows and will provide feedback for the route sales drivers and sales teams within the region. Utilize information learned in the reviews to determine if training is an appropriate solution, or if a problem can be corrected by different performance improvement solutions such as procedure revision, development of appropriate job aids, etc.
·Assist in the training and sales department with performance analysis checklists to identify the difference(s) between actual and desired performance, the cause of discrepancy, and provide suggestions on actions to address the causes whether training related or not.
·Utilize a variety of effective
training methodologies and demonstrate enthusiasm for training in order to motivate others to want to learn.
·Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience:
Three to Five years sales training experience as well
as presenting various service and training programs to field personnel. Experienced in auditing compliance with field sales programs. Experience in business to business field sales preferred but not required.
Knowledge/Skills:
·Must be able to work independently with minimal direction.
·Knowledge and understanding of the Essentials Sales Process.
·Understanding of sales and field operations.
·Demonstrated ability in presenting various programs to field personnel.
·Knowledge of to auditing compliance of field sales onboarding and sales training completion.
·Strong customer service skills.
·Excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
·Good organizational skills and must be able to prioritize.
