Job Description:


This position, Grant Ending 9/30/2011, is in the College Relations/Marketing Department. Duties include but not limited to:










  • Responsible for initiating, developing and maintaining contact with education, business and related industry leaders to establish partnerships for product development and distribution of educational products developed for national and international market based on grant requirements.











  • Supports and coordinates future educational product development and implementation planning.











  • Provides project management/coordination and customer support services for the Marketing Department.











  • Works with faculty members to build relationships.











  • Must have excellent written and presentation experience.











  • Performs other duties as assigned.





Requirements:










  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an academic or professional field and three years sales/marketing - related experience or seven years of sales/marketing - related experience.

  • Understands basic telecommunications theory and how to adapt marketing efforts as needed.

  • Ability to utilize computer technology to access information, generate reports and communicate with others.

  • Grant management experience is a plus.

  • Requires the ability to meet the public and provide clear oral and written communication with varying levels of industry contacts in the District and the national business community.

  • Official transcripts will be required.

  • A criminal background check will be conducted.
