Position Summary
We are looking for a Senior Attorney with strong IT Outsourcing experience to join our Dallas headquarters office. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience in dealing with large, complex IT Outsourcing Agreements. The Senior Attorney will interact with all levels of headquarters management and sales/service management. This position will include responsibility for following areas:
Negotiation of large, complex IT outsourcing agreements with CompuCom’s Fortune 500 customers:
• Outsourcing deals typically include multi-service towers.
• Large deals are frequently the result of extensive RFP’s which will require the Senior Attorney to provide extensive support to the sales teams in preparing the RFP response, including a red-line of the proposed agreements.
• Negotiations include master agreements and the integration of one or more statements of work.
• The Senior Attorney will (i) negotiate and draft client master agreements and (ii) provide detailed review/comments on statements of work which are drafted by sales/solution teams for both the client and applicable subcontractors.
• Many deals include global services (EMEA, Asia, Latin America), using multiple international service partners.
Requirements
Law Degree and admission to Texas Bar Association
• 5+ years experience as in-house counsel
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Work independently and ability to render advice on strategic decisions
• Strong leadership skills
• Self-motivated team player
• Strong interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication
• Balance competing priorities/projects in fast-paced environment
Preferred candidates will also have the following experience:
• Negotiations of contracts using TPI or comparable outsourcing consultant methodologies
• Data privacy (U.S. federal/state and international)
• U.S. regulatory requirements affecting IT outsourcing providers, including Graham Leach Bliley, HIPPA, PCI, SAS 70, Sarbanes Oxley.
