POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Provide support as required to IP and Litigation groups.
DUTIES:
Manage case dockets (electronic and paper); populate and use electronic discovery databases; assist in all aspects of electronic and document discovery; draft motions and other court filings; assist as a key team member in other aspects of a practice.
Management retains the discretion to assign or to change the duties of the position anytime.

Ability to write clear, concise work product (including draft court filings) and the ability to communicate in an effective, appropriately professional manner with all office personnel, clients and others.
Must maintain client confidentiality.

Must possess initiative and be creative in solving problems.
Knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint; ideal candidate will also have knowledge of Summation or a similar litigation database, Visio, Applied Discovery, Lexis, Pacer, USPTO, Adobe Acrobat Writer and Vision..
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required if comparable work experience is strong.
Previous litigation related experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR RESULTS:
Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final work product.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITY:
The position has input or makes recommendations to management decisions
CONTACTS AND COMMUNICATION:
Contact with Attorneys, Staff and Clients on a daily basis.
USE OF EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS:
Use of Computer, Phone, Fax and Photo Copier on a daily basis.
