Position Description
Coordinate the sale of all property assigned to the Company as a result of settlement of a physical damage/total loss claim.
Responsible for proofing all incoming salvage paperwork for accuracy. Will also monitor salvage proceeds and deficits.
Position Requirements
* This level of knowledge is generally acquired through a High School diploma. Some college is preferred.
* Experience in all processes related to disposition of total loss assets
* Knowledge of state rules and regulations related to title transfer
* Ability to follow established procedures under limited supervision
* Effective time management and follow-up skills
* Ability to communicate at all levels (written and verbal)
* Ability to perform as part of a team
* Basic PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to evaluate the monetary worth of salvaged property preferred (training provided)
* 6 months experience in / knowledge of physical damage claims processes preferred
* A general understanding of the applicable claims software preferred
