Job Responsibilities: This job includes claim processing and adjudication; claims research where applicable.
- Must meet and/or exceed qualitative and quantitative production standards.
- Primary client contact for accounts. Responsible for processing of claims (medical, dental, vision and mental health claims). Main customer service contact to resolve issues and identify customer needs on a pro-active basis.
- Claims Processing includes reviewing and processing insurance to verify medical necessities and coverage under policy guidelines (clinical edit logic).
- Facilitate claims investigation, negotiate settlements, interpret medical records, respond to Department of Insurance complaints, and authorize payment to claimants and providers.
- Other responsibilities include resolving claims appeals, researching Overpayment Reviews and recover overpayment of claims. Corrected financial histories of patients and service providers to ensure accurate records.
Qualified candidates must poses at least 5 years of experience processing health insurance claims (medical, dental vision)
