Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) Systems Engineer with experience (preferred but not required) in working in support of products designed for the Military. This engineer will be responsible for providing reliability and maintainability predictions and analyses, testability analyses, conducting Maintainability Demonstrations, and Environmental Stress Screening.
Qualifications include:
1. Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
2. Experience with Testability Analysis, Maintainability Analysis, Predictions, Human Factors, Safety, Built-In Test (BIT) Design Analysis, and BIT/maintainability demonstration.
3. Prior experience in the areas of reliability predictions and Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMEA/FMECA) and implementation of a Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System.
4. Working knowledge of RELEX ™ Reliability Software (preferred but not required).
5. Ability to plan and conduct an Environmental Stress Screening Program; ability to apply temperature and vibration Stress Screening techniques.
6. Ability to manage the R&M effort on multiple programs at once while ensuring that tasks are completed on time and within budget
7. Ability to effectively interface with design engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, project management, program management, and the Customer to provide R&M leadership and support.
8. A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project) is a must.
9. Prior Defense Sector Experience.
Individual must be self directed, highly motivated, mentor and lead, and have a strong desire to investigate problems to the root cause and then champion the creation/implementation of corrective actions. Good writing and interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate several projects and complex engineering activities while balancing priorities and schedules is a must.
Bachelor's Degree in applicable engineering or science field, and at least fifteen years of related experience.
Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance, US Citizenship is required.
