We are a leader in Mission Critical Infrastructure construction, having built over 20 million square feet of data centers. Our Mission Critical (MEP Services) group was established to address the specific construction needs of Mission Critical facilities and other related construction projects. The group comprises of electrical, mechanical, technology and construction professionals who have extensive, hands-on experience designing, estimating, constructing and commissioning complex critical facilities and infrastructure.
We currently offer an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated team player with a minimum of 5+ years project management experience! We seek professionals that can demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of managing the design and/or construction of MEP divisions for large commercial projects, especially mission critical facilities such as corporate data centers. Hands-on experience in directing the construction of Data Centers as the General Contractor or CM@Risk is ideal. This person could be based in Dallas, Houston, Austin or San Antonio, with the ability to travel at times.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- experience in developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, managing cost and tracking project budgets
- experience in coordinating and managing MEP trades from preconstruction and estimating through to commissioning and start-up
- knowledge of estimating and conceptual budgeting of MEP services, performing constructability reviews of heavy MEP infrastructure
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- strong organization skills, a keen attention to details, and a dedication to providing high quality client service
- experience managing relationships with owners representatives, architects, engineers and clients on a professional level while supervising subcontractors and vendors
- solid understanding of financial management & analysis, construction management methodologies, and excellent computer skills (MS Project, Excel, Word, Primavera, Prolog, SureTrak, Lotus Notes)
