Job Description:
General Summary:
The Operations Manager manages an individual branch or multiple branches’ day to day operations. Responsible for carrying out the company’s mission, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures as established with the Regional Director and VP of Operations. The Operations Manager is responsible for the technical and tactical operation of the branch as well as management of the technical staff. This position requires extensive interfacing with internal and external customers and the application and communication of specific technical and general industry knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership for the Branch with regard to employee development, ethical business practices, and employee and customer loyalty
• Enable revenue objectives by partnering with sales management, managing labor hours and establishing and maintaining operations readiness
• Manage the technical group through organizational structure, skill level and mix of employees, performance evaluations and training
• Ensure customer satisfaction through maintenance of customer focus, resolution of outstanding issues, and promotion of executive awareness
• Promote Best Company in America culture

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: (education, experience, technical skills, communication skills, customer focus, time management skills, independence, accuracy)
• Bachelors degree in Business or Telecommunications or equivalent required
• 5+ years in technical or project management
• Experience with Nortel and/or NEC vendors highly desired
• Broad industry knowledge including C.O. and network architecture
• Excellent customer and employee relation skills required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary
• Solid experience in P & L management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office & other PC applications
