Director of Planning, Operations Analysis & Reporting
The Director is a critical member of the Default Mortgage Leadership Team. This individual will provide the planning, analysis and reporting for the business to drive operational and financial decisions. He/She will perform capacity modeling, expense analysis, risk assessments and will synthesize forecasts and design performance metrics and controls to mitigate risk through the support of a highly talented team of 10 to 12 Analysts.
The Director is a champion of change for improvement, is an excellent communicator at all levels and is a leader at providing analytical and strategic support and insights.
Responsibilities:
§ Work directly with the Head of Mortgage Default to drive excellence in business operations.
§ Accountable for managing various processes such as planning, analysis and reporting and finding solutions to troubleshoot issues and process breakdowns in core business functions.
§ Deliver capacity and expense planning and analysis relevant to Mortgage Servicing (i.e., on default expenses on customer loans, incentives, etc.)
§ Develop and maintain regular reporting, performance metrics, budgets, or status reports in support of key initiatives
§ Manage, coach and guide a team of 10 to 12 Operations Analysts and Financial Analysts
Basic Qualifications:
§ Bachelors Degree in quantitative field such as finance, accounting, mathematics or engineering
§ 4 Years experience in Operations / Business Analysis / Strategic Planning
§ 2 Years experience in People Management
§ 1 Year experience with Financial Reporting
Preferred Qualifications:
§ Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or in a quantitative fields such as finance, accounting, mathematics or engineering
§ 5 Years experience in Mortgage Servicing
§ 5 Years experience in Quantitative and qualitative analysis
§ 4 Years experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
§ 5 Years experience in People management
§ 2 Years experience in Project management
