The CRET Federal Real Estate Practice is currently searching for Managers to join its highly talented team of professionals.

Clients will include various Federal Government agencies assisting the clients in developing real property co location strategy and asset management solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist Agency with the direct management and oversight of multiple projects/programs throughout the project life-cycle phases- Requirements, Lease Acquisition, Design, Construction, Move-in and Project Close-out. These duties include but not limited to the following:
· Prepare space plans as needed
· Review Design Intent Drawings and Construction Documents for compliance with Facilities standards and project requirements
· Review and update Advertisement for Space and Solicitation for Offers
· Attend Market Surveys as required
· Create Regional Field Reports based on applicable travel
· Review Occupancy Agreements for compliance with SF-81 and project requirements
- Communicate and Facilitate project information with Agency, General Services Administration, and various service providers.
- Assist Agency with providing ongoing portfolio management and represent client's interest with regard to leasing portfolio and/or construction (owned) projects. These projects shall include new "build-to-suit", expansion, renovation, co-location and prospectus projects.
- Assist Agency with the creation and management of project cost estimates to include: design, construction, IT/Telecom, Security, Furniture, etc. formulating real property and housing strategy and milestones. Update project financial budgets as needed.
- Analyze Agency's real property and/or asset management practices, including acquisition, operations, and disposal, and provide suggestions for improvements in the real property and/or asset life cycle
- Evaluate client space management strategies and performance targets
- Assist in the development of Agency-wide initiatives to improve the management and operations related to real property
- Calculate and analyze quantifiable performance measures related to the Agency's real property management
- Develop verification procedures to ensure that the Agency's space utilization and asset inventory is tracked and reported accurately and effectively
- Additional requirements as directed by client management
Position requirements include:
- Minimum 8 years work experience in commercial/corporate real estate or related area
- Work experience on project teams in a Project Lead or Project Manager role
- Problem solver with strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent customer service skills
- Must have experience with MS Office Professional
- Must possess strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize assigned tasks
- Proven ability to safeguard confidential information
- Work experience or education in a real estate environment
- Must possess, or be able to acquire, Secret or Top Secret government clearance
- Understanding of real estate strategy and business processes resulting in cost optimization and process improvement
Additional qualifications:
- Experience with strategic consulting preferred
- Work experience on a external client facing project team
Education: Undergraduate degree preferred in one of the following areas of concentration - BS/BA in Business, IS, Finance, Real Estate, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field. MBA preferred.
Travel: Must be able to travel up to 25%
