VP, Commercial Loan Officer
Job Duties:
1. Solicit and develop new business
2. Underwrite new loans, renewals, amendments and waivers
3. Prepare required disclosure information within designated timeframes
4. Ensure compliance with Bank, regulatory and credit requirements with emphasis on quality customer service while adhering to given deadlines
5. Analyze and create financial write-up loan package to generate new loans
6. Maintain existing client base
7. Assist customers and follow up on outstanding items
8. Assist with mentoring and coaching loan assistants
9. Actively participates in business community activities for referral networking.
10. Mentor and coach junior loan officers.
Basic Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline preferred but not mandatory.
2. Minimum five years of corporate commercial lending and commercial real estate experience with thorough knowledge of lending regulations and credit/underwriting practices.
3. PC proficient.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Strong business development skills.
6. Organized and detail oriented.
7. Good credit knowledge of Bank’s credit underwriting policies and approval process for assigned loan.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high production environment.
9. Strong financial analysis and accounting skills.
