Description: The Mortgage Banking Officer originates loans by conducting marketing activities, seeking referrals from internal and external sources (such as realtors/contractors), qualifying and closing loans. In addition, this individual originates and coordinates loans according to bank policy and appropriate regulations.


Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred Minimum 3 years of prior experience in Mortgage Banking required Minimum 3-5 years of experience in originating FHA/VA mortgage loans Must have proven track record, established clientele base, and Realtor and Builder knowledge Intermediate PC skills Ability to provide exceptional customer service and possess excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in order to be effective in individual and group seminars Bilingual skills preferred.
