Essential Job FunctionsThis position will support the purchasing and item master services infrastructure consisting of buyers, transaction management experts, item master, and quality assurance personnel that are focused on client purchases and item master pricing with the goal of reducing overall supply chain costs.

Improve price accuracy for transaction management clients by using purchase order transaction data derived from BroadLink, Broadlane’s proprietary e-commerce infrastructure, to identify price discrepancies between the purchase order, vendor acknowledgment and contract prices.

Provide contract and price data to Item Master Services clients

Compile and distribute the weekly Transaction Management reports and the monthly dashboard

Serve as a liaison with contracting for all contract data issues regarding pricing, units of measure, manufacturers, catalog numbers, etc.

Assist account management with contract enrollment and tier management

Assist in managing distribution contract pricing for national contracts

Assist in the loading of distributor catalog numbers in Broadlane’s databasesRequired Skills

Functional knowledge of purchasing data

Functional understanding of contract pricing and tiers

Functional understanding of medical suppliers and vendors and their relationships

Extreme attention to detail and organization

Strong analytical skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, including initiative, strategic thinking, and subject matter expertise with a proactive inclination to find and correct problems.

Communication skills – Solid oral communication skills. Clear and concise written communication skills. Strong listening and comprehension skills.

Computer skills – Proficiency in designing queries using various tools, including SQL, Access, and DataFlux. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Required Experience and Education

Previous data analysis experience

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

Healthcare experience a plus
