The position will be responsible for all revenue billing, vendor payments, retrieve/scanning of load documentation and primary audit for all AR/AP functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• New customer implementation: a. Work with VHQ to ensure credit checks are complete. b. Work with VHQ to create new “bill to” codes. c. Coordinate efforts with Operations to gather all customer billing requirements. d. Coordinate efforts between pricing and operations to ensure all rates are accurate and uploaded into operations/billing systems.
• Processing all clients billing/invoices in a timely manner and in accordance with client's requirements.
• Process vendor invoices, code vendor invoices and maintain vendor files on a timely basis.
• Remit AP on a timely basis including regular checks and “hot” checks.
• Freight audit of vendor invoices.
• Coordinating adherence to client process and paperwork requirements.
• Facilitate billing-related communication between Finance, Operations and Sales. 
• Generating daily revenue reports. 
• Create, maintain and analyze selected financial reporting.
• Organize file and maintain all AP/AR related documents.
• Create and maintain AP/AR process flows to include desk top reference for these functions.
• Assist management, operations, sales and pricing as needed.

Experience and Skill Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 + years in the transportation industry or similar function.
• Strong work ethic.
• Organized with a controlled sense of urgency.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Effective reporting and query writing capabilities
