DescriptionRegular/Temporary: Regular

Essential Job Functions:Analyst performs in-depth supply expense analysis to identify value of Broadlane supply contracts for potential customers and to facilitate the conversion to Broadlane contracts for new customers.This position works with customer representatives, Broadlane account executives, and contracting personnel to analyze hospital supply expense and determine the potential savings opportunity for new customers. Analysis includes identifying products purchased, comparing pricing for these items to Broadlane pricing, and identifying functionally equivalent items that are also on Broadlane contract as possible substitutes. More in depth analysis involves determining market share by vendor and identifying standardization opportunities.Individual must have experience working with spreadsheets and database development and analysis. Advanced Excel and Access skills are required. Previous healthcare product knowledge is highly preferred. Relevant experience in hospital supply chain management is desirable.

Requirements

Work with various data sources in order to perform advanced analysis

Working knowledge of Accounts Payable reporting data

Effectively communicate with all levels of management internally and externally

Manage projects for timely completion and accurate reporting

Be able to multi-task in a challenging, fast-paced environment

Clinical/medical product knowledge a plusRequired Experience & Education:

Bachelor Degree, preferably in a Business Discipline

Advanced analytical skills

2 – 3 years relevant experience

Significant experience with MS Access & Excel

Minimal travel may be required
