Position Summary
Basic Function: Assist with increasing demands of tax fixed asset records as a result of tax law complexities and shifting of responsibilities from the Sr. Tax Accountant who will be performing review and supervisory work due to departure of Tax Manager pursuant to right-sizing initiatives. Prepare spreadsheet analysis for various tax projects. Reponsible for the major entry, processing, and reporting of Oracle Tax FA books. Complete simple tax forms and provide support for income tax department as needed. Primary Job Responsibilities: Calculate depreciation expense and gain/loss for the tax fixed asset books. Take responsibility for monthly processing of all Oracle FA system tax books. Participate in cost segregation studies with third party providers, in real estate surveys for capitalization of assets, and reflect changes in Oracle tax books accordingly. Assist in other ad hoc special projects. Assist in the preparation of year-end calculations for federal and state tax books, in the fixed asset deferred pool, and final adjustments for the tax returns. Provide spreadsheet analysis and manipulation for other federal book to tax adjustments and state tax modifications such as property taxes and apportionment. Prepare corporate annual reports, document certified mail receipt records, prepare and organize tax folders and tax return information, and provide back-up support for mail, check requests, etc.

Requirements
Job Requirements: 2 years experience required detailed spreadsheet preparation and analysis attention to detail; good communication skills; experience with Oracle or similar financial systems or fixed asset systems is preferred. Educational Requirements: High school diploma general intermediate spreadsheet skills in Excel
