Basic Function:

The position will be a cross trained resource with responsibilities for Accounts Payable and Expense Reporting.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

    * Up to 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting functions.
    * The position will require extensive data entry and attention to detail.  This will include the proper coding of accounts payable transactions to the general ledger, review and approval of employee expense reports and stop/void processing of previously issued Accounts Payable checks.
    * This individual should be able to manage multiple deadlines and will be responsible for achieving specific daily performance targets.
    * The position will also be responsible for inquiries regarding status of vendor payments, expense payments to employees and other inquires related to accounts payable.

 

Position Requirements:

    * The candidate should possess good oral and written communication skills.
    * 10-key by touch
    * Data entry – 60 words per minute
    * Intermediate Word, Excel and MS Access skills

Education:

High School Diploma with a combination of prior work experience in a related position or a minimum of 12 hours of College Level accounting.
